At Grace, we strive to create a dynamic, fun, and creative Bible-based curriculum for our kids from birth through high school. On Sunday mornings during our 11:15a worship gathering, children from 5-12 years of age are invited to participate in our GraceKids program. Working with dedicated adults, children are taught about Jesus and what it means to be a follower of Jesus in ways that they can understand.
For those who are birth to 4 years of age, our professional nursery staff programs a time of active play, utilizing age appropriate Sunday school curriculum.
As children mature, they are invited in grade 6 to experience God in a deeper way through the Confirmation experience. Confirmation is:
The act by which persons who were baptized as infants or young children (or, because of other special circumstances, could not make the baptismal vows themselves) make their first public statement of their declaration or profession of faith. In this sense, they confirm their faith. Confirmation is performed in preparation for reception into full membership in The United Methodist Church. Persons who declared their faith in Christ for themselves at baptism are not confirmed inasmuch as they previously made their profession of faith when baptized.
