Along with our mission and vision, our values define who we are and how we approach our lives, individually as followers of Jesus, and together here at Grace.  We’ve used the word “GRACE” as an acronym for what we believe are the essential values we hold dear.

Generous: We believe that generosity is central to who we are as followers of Jesus; we are committed to investing in the Kingdom in response to all God has invested in us through Jesus Christ (1 Chr 29:9,14; Ps 24:1;
Lk 6:38; Acts 20:35; 2 Cor 9:6-15; 1 Pet 4:10).

Relational: We believe that people matter to God and to one another. Our personal relationships with God are fundamental to how we relate to one another in Christ (Prov 17:17, 18:24; Jn 13:34-35; Rom 12:10; Eph 4:2;
Heb 10:24-25; 1 Pet 1:22; 1 Jn 3:23; 4:11-12).

Aspiring: We believe that our highest calling as Christians is to aspire to love and live like Jesus in the world
(Jn 14:12; Rom 12:1-2; 1 Cor 2:16, 11:1; Eph 5:1-2; Phil 1:27, 2:1-18; 1 Jn 4:17).

Courageous: We believe that God calls us to boldly champion Spirit-led change (Dt 31:6-8; 1 Chr 28:20; Ps 27:1, 31:24; Prov 3:5-6; Jn 14:27; 1 Cor 15:58,16:13; 2 Tim 1:7).

Engaging: We believe in engaging the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in ways that are relevant and authentic (Mt 5:13-16, 28:16-20; Acts 8:26-31; 17:16-34; Eph 2:10; Titus 3:14; 1 Pet 2:9,11-12, 3:15).
